Supply Chain Coordinator
As Supply Chain Coordinator at Awake, you should be comfortable sourcing parts and sub-assemblies for production, including management of agreements and contracts with sub-suppliers. This will be the perfect opportunity for you to use your skills to build and guide streamlined supply chain and production processes together with your colleagues. You will have the leading role developing the Quality Management System for the team’s overall Quality Assurance efforts throughout the supply chain, including incoming and outgoing quality control. Your experience within global shipping and logistics will be key in Awake’s constant efforts to deliver above and beyond expectations. Product returns and repairs will be managed by you, where you will oversee timely completion of scheduled events.

In addition to this the Supply Chain Coordinator will together with the CTO be responsible for any future “Production Transfer”; the important and difficult process of taking a product from working prototype to a mass production-ready product that can be produced with consistent, high quality.

• Sourcing of parts and sub-assemblies for production, including agreements and contracts with sub-suppliers
• General QA (Quality Assurance) throughout the supply chain, including incoming and outgoing quality control
• Global shipping and logistics
• QMS (Quality Management System)
• Delivery performance (delivering products at the agreed time in a high and consistent quality)
• Return product and repairs
• Transparent reporting to management

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• Advanced social and communicative skills both in Swedish and English
• Basic finance knowledge
• Lean production knowledge
• Proficient in excel

Language requirement: Fluent in Swedish and English

We see that you ideally have more than two years of experience of working in a larger organization, most likely in a position within the department of research and development, from which you bring a strong sense of structure and process-oriented thinking. You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or within the following areas: Systems, control, automation and robotics or vehicle engineering.
